Dr. Vijayalakshmi C

Dr. Vijayalakshmi C is a doctoral fellow from MDI Gurgaon, with graduate degrees in Agriculture and Rural Management. She has over 25 years of experience, having started her career in management moving on to research, teaching and consulting in the area of behavioral studies from organizational, employee and consumer angles.

She has led teams of researchers in undertaking ethnographic field studies of rural Indians to understand Indian households, particularly in vulnerable and marginalised populations. She has trained thousands of managers across various organizations like Indian Bank, TAFE, Hyundai Motors, Hero Motors, LnTECC and Kobelco. She has led several research projects funded by international organizations including IFAD, World Bank, DFID, DFC, and national organizations including NABARD, CII Foundation, and ICICI bank.

She has several national and international publications to her credit.
