Raghav Narayan

Raghav is a seasoned Corporate Finance and Strategy Consultant with over 19 years of experience across financial services, corporate finance, commodities finance, and risk management.

Raghav led initiatives including setting up finance, compliance, and accounting frameworks from scratch for multiple start-ups and financial institutions, laying the foundation for institutional risk controls and financial-risk reporting systems. He developed pricing, tariff, and contract structures for large infrastructure Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects.

He has spearheaded several NBFC acquisitions and collaborations, involving due diligence, valuation, and risk assessments, especially focusing on expanding into new geographies and business lines.

He has been involved in designing financial products and risk frameworks tailored for financial inclusion and rural economies, domains where market and credit risk management is central. At IFMR Rural Finance, Raghav conceptualized and piloted a unique commodity finance program for farmers, involving structured financial products aimed at stabilizing price volatility risks. His career demonstrates a strong ability to design, implement, and manage financial risk and hedging strategies for entities in the BFSI sectors.

As a director and board Member across multiple firms including Aparoksha Financial Services, Workbench Projects, and Vyuha Advisors, Raghav has actively contributed to strategy, risk governance, and financial controls at the highest decision-making levels. He is an experienced trainer and mentor, frequently advising institutions on risk management best practices, financial regulations (including IFRS), and enterprise resilience. He is a Chartered Accountant and began his career at ICICI Bank and IFMR Rural Finance.
